Accurate calibration curves such as those provided with "precision" or "curve-matched" thermistors are necessary before acceptable results can be achieved.
Provided that care is taken to ensure that the measuring current does not exceed the manufacturer's recommended value, temperatures can be determined with an accuracy of +0.25 to + l'C by this simple method using a thermistor and its calibration curve.
